It truly was an honor to be a part of the in-house team at NBC Sports to design and animate the packaging for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
As the sole Houdini artist on the team, I was tasked with all creating particle elements for the team of designer and animators to use. I also rigged and animated all the florial elements in the package.
Breakdown
One of the main elements I was tasked with was animating regional French flowers that matched the location and color scheme of the venues in Paris and the surround areas.
Awards
It's a wrap.
On top of being part of an amazing team of artists, seeing work I had a hand in air across multiple networks for almost a month straight, we won an Emmy for outstanding design for a live event. All in all, not a bad way to spend a year.
