Working as Sr. 3D artist with Klip Collective (Philly based), we were asked if we'd be interested in working with Red Bull to concept a live event where the crowd could play VJ on Philly's most iconic piece of architecture.
Klip fabricated a custom control surface made from Red Bull cans that served as buttons and knobs. I did the site survey of City Hall, made the model and concepted and created a 2 minute branded open for the show.
Process
I had two main roles in this project working with Klip. First was to create a scale model of Philadelphia City Hall (with no architectural plans available and only a few measurements) to use for both animation and setting up projections. Secondly I was asked to concept and create a minute long branded open to kick off Red Bull’s live event.
